i spent the last hour fiddling with html. so i might have a postcard page up . . . somewhere . . . sometime. it depends on my access to photoshop and the niceness of mostly random, via morgen. muchly cool. you don't get to see anything before then, though.

18.03.02 | 8:53 p.m. | Cherry Tree Blossoms & Egg Shells

today was the quintissential march springtime day. it was misty and rainy and 40 deg all day long. i went for a long walk aroung shepherdstown and took pictures of many green things and one jalopy. hopefully as soon as school starts up again, i will have that roll developed and scanned. but that's wishful thinking, really. all of the trees started blooming and the crocuses are fading and the daffodils are rampant. mmm. i love spring.

i also hollowed out eggs for painting today. it should be interesting painting them since they're brown eggs, but everyone i've talked to seems enthusiastic about it. they keep telling me i'll get all sorts of interesting sepia tones. which is fine, unless i wanted bright harlequin jewel tones. right? we'll see. not sure yet if i want to use water color or acrylic washes on them.

um yeah. so other than that, today was pretty dull. the radio has been playing awful music and i've taken to throwing small items at it. socks, ben & jerry's lids and so forth. it does little to change the music, but it makes me feel better. why did the college station have to have spring break off too?

tomorrow promises to be more exciting--i am helping navigate sara & brennan to the baltimore ikea to get things. i hope to find a neat little tea pot there, as i am lacking one. then mom should get here in the afternoon and i can get groceries at last. doesn't that sound much more interesting than today?
