make no mistake. istock photo is a remarkable community of photographers, massive in its complexity and independance. but the main problem that i'm having with istockphoto.com is that it's about as ethnicly diverse as a mayonaise sandwich on wonderbread. especially when searching for pictures of older, dignified black women.

also their tendencey to throw up at least two or three naked people per page when browsing makes me very conscious of my boss' small child, running around the office because school let out early.
