i was tipped off by google's fetching title today, but still, i didn't know that it was gaston julia's birthday today until i checked polychroma. hm. i suppose this is the point where a meaningless platitude occurs like, "you learn something new everyday." but we here at strange hours are pleased to bring you a platitude-free blog.
