**i worry that this is an invalid sample because this is actually the third random mix i pulled up. the previous two had a large cross-section of certain artists and that didn't seem accurate. this is also the depository of music at work, and does not compare to the whole of my musical tastes. i'm also a little disappointed that no godspeed you black emperor showed up. on the other hand, annabel lee was a nice surprise to see in there. ah well, what can you do?

orange grphx came over for some tea tonight. so i discovered that we both drink the same type and brand of green tea and have the same kind of milano cookies. knowing orange grphx as i do, he's probably written this up already in his journal. when i got down to the tea leaves in my cup, they were arranged in a julia pattern. how's that for brownian motion?

i also painted some plates that the ADDYs are going to auction off at the awards ceremony next month. it was surprisingly fun, although it would have been more fun if i had actually known people. i wonder how the glazes are going to turn out.

now i feel all fidgety and unsettled. i think spring fever is starting to set in. i'll know it has for certain when i start craving shamrock shakes. craving shamrock shakes and then going out and fulfilling that craving. scary.

lesson: don't mess with spring! it will make you crazy.
