Saturday, Mar. 13, 2004 | 8:13 p.m. | Cher Endorses Pledge Week since pbs has felt some need to uneccisarily take away my bbc programming tonight, i give you words to remember cher by. ". . . because what is an outfit without a whip?" an admirable sentiment. now it is time for me to put in a movie. Friday, Mar. 12, 2004 | 11:29 p.m. | Enticing Drabble if you've been wondering where i've been of late - and if you aren't, you should just skip down a bit - i've been rediscovering the joys of anemia. i forgot how helpless it makes you feel, but thankfully there were no vision black-outs this time. after i went and got iron supplements from the drug store, i went on rampage though my kitchen, reading lables. that pop-eye "spinach has lots of iron and it's good for you thing is complete bunk. it has vitamin a, not iron. in fact, you get more vitamin a from carrots. what it all came down to was that i had next to no iron in my diet. which was probably why i nearly passed out at work. so there we are. i'm taking these dubviously grey pills and trying not to think about it. also, if you are hereswith, and you saw my last entry and you thought i was uneccisarily stuck up and snotty about illustration, i'm sorry. that dewy-eyed anime harry potter thing is sort of a pet peeve . . . since miss e- has joined the ranks of lj users, i think the ammount of people i know on there has reached critical mass. i might finally cave in (thankfully i have a whole page of icons at the ready). the real debate is how hard will it be to make the default journal design not suck. what say you? yea or nae? | |
