so i have to admit that, while i love pixels and vectors and typography with all my heart, there's nothing quite like making stuff. you can hold the product of all of your labors right there in your hands, and turn it upside down and inside out.

trying to finish up my knitting projects, or at least finish them off faster than i can start new ones. but, oh. i have this yarn . . .

eventually this will magically become a non-poncho for miss æ-. but for now it must sit in a pile while i weave in ends and send my ecks-mas presents off dutifully. i tell you that my knitting needles are itching at the thought of it.

ideas zooming around my brain the other night kept me from sleeping. pictures of all the junk i'm working on that aren't going directly into my portfolio wandered aimlessly through my head, looking for something to connect to. you really ought to update diaryland with something or just give in and make it go away wandered aimlessly through my head, looking for something to connect to.

hey, wow. the two have become friends. amazing how that works.

so i can assure you that confessions of a type geek is not dead, and that we have lofty plans to turn this into a project blog. hurrah for having a purpose!

(should you still wish to follow my inane everyday exploits ((but really, why would you?)), leave a note with an email address and i'll point you to the livejournal)
